I forgot about this song until it came up in an iTunes genius playlist. It's one of those songs that just gets to everybody...it's so full of hope. I was recently reminded that it's not such a stigma to be ambitious. Good remix.

The funny thing about ideals and ego... Ideals are the things we want, that we think everyone should want. Some people even think that those that do not adhere to their line of reasoning are unreasonable and therefore do not know what is best for them. At this point the idealist may respect the other person's ideas and feelings, or attempt to force their own ideals upon this person they believe is being 'unreasonable'. Like it or not, socialism is the popular ideal that is being forced by those with the power to do so, whether those subjected to it particularly want to exist under its yoke.
